What are games like Subway Surfers without ads?
The closest is Subway Surfers+, the same endless run on Apple Arcade with no ads and no in-app purchases. Sonic Dash+ is another Apple Arcade runner without ads. Both need an Apple Arcade subscription. If you want free and ad-free with no subscription, RushOrb is a one-thumb 3D runner that plays offline.
The original Subway Surfers is free to download, and its App Store page lists "Advertising" and "Loot Boxes" in its age rating details, in-app purchases from $0.99 to $4.99, and data used to track you. That is the trade most free runners make. The three picks below make a different one.
Same thumb, same rush. The difference is who pays for the game.

How RushOrb plays in 3 steps
- Steer with one thumbDrag anywhere to steer your critter orb down a cloud road.
- Call the weatherFrost freezes ghost bridges solid, Blaze melts glass gates and runs faster, Gale lifts you over hurdles. Tap the same weather again for its bonus move.
- Part the storm wallsCurtains of weather only part for the weather painted on them. Split walls make you choose in a heartbeat. That is the demo above.
Subway Surfers asks where to go. RushOrb also asks what the sky should be.

Honest limits
- It is not a three-lane subway run. You roll a 3D orb on open roads, not dash between train tracks. If lane-switching is the whole joy, Subway Surfers+ is the truer match.
- It has a subscription you can ignore. RushOrb Plus is optional and auto-renews monthly or yearly until cancelled. It adds orbs, premium worlds, XP and coins, never stage clears.
- No famous characters. No Jake, no Sonic. You get 35+ orbs and trails, including 21 animated critter orbs.
- Who should pick something else: anyone who already pays for Apple Arcade (you have two ad-free classics included), and players who want swipe-to-jump controls.
Our design decision: the run never stops for an ad, and coins come only from playing, so nothing you buy can skip a stage.
What the demo was showing you
In the 20-second run at the top, each wall only opens for its own colour. That is RushOrb's Storm Walls rule. In the app it is one of several: Frost Bridges hang over chasms and only hold while Frost is called, and riding close to the storm charges Thunder for a Storm Surge that smashes through everything. Each stage awards up to three sparks: reach the gate, light every beacon, and beat the stage's own challenge, like "part 6 Storm Walls". Collect all 108 to complete the Atlas.
Match the wall, keep rolling. It takes one run to get it.
Command the storm.
Download free on the App Store. No ads, no account, plays offline.
