What games are like Rolling Sky?
The closest games to Rolling Sky are its sequel, Rolling Sky 2, and Going Balls, which both roll you down narrow 3D tracks full of traps. If you want the same feeling without ads after every fall, RushOrb is a one-thumb 3D runner with no ads and full offline play, plus a weather twist the others don't have.
Rolling Sky's appeal is simple: swipe to steer a ball, and obstacles land on the beat. What usually drives people to search for alternatives is everything around the run. All three of the older games sell an ad-removal purchase, which tells you how often ads appear.
Same rolling rush; the difference is what happens when you fall.
Play the RushOrb twist: 20 seconds of storm walls
In RushOrb you don't only dodge. Storm walls cross the track and part only for the weather painted on them. Tap Frost, Blaze or Gale (or press 1, 2, 3) before each wall reaches your orb. Match it and you roll through.
Press Start, then call the weather that matches each wall.
The real game adds what the demo can't: you steer with one thumb while the other calls the weather. Frost freezes ghost bridges solid over chasms, Blaze melts glass gates, and Gale lifts you over hurdles and stretches jumps.
Rolling Sky asks you to read the track. RushOrb asks you to change it.

What RushOrb looks like

Each stage has three sparks: reach the gate, light every beacon, and beat the stage's own challenge, such as "cross 2 Frost Bridges". Collect all 108 to complete the Atlas.
A journey with a map, not just a high score to beat.
One run, start to finish
You launch Powder Run in The Thaw. A blue wall rises ahead, so you call Frost and roll through; a ghost bridge firms up under you over a gap. Next comes a split wall, half orange, half green. You steer into the orange side and call Blaze at the last second. A near miss charges Thunder. Two more, and you fire a Storm Surge that smashes through everything to the finish gate. You fell once on the way. No ad played. You just went again.
Fall, breathe, go again: that's the whole loop we wanted.

How RushOrb works in 3 steps
- Steer with one thumb. Drag anywhere to roll your critter orb along the course.
- Call the weather with the other. Frost, Blaze or Gale instantly re-tunes the track. Tap the active weather again for its bonus move, such as Lift, Flare, Chill or Glide.
- Earn three sparks. Reach the gate, light all three beacons and beat the stage challenge to open the next stage across six regions.
Who should pick something else
- Rhythm fans who play for beat-matched levels: Rolling Sky is still the one.
- Anyone who wants pure, simple dodging with no extra buttons: the second thumb in RushOrb is a real skill to learn.
- People who avoid subscriptions on principle: RushOrb Plus exists. It is optional and never needed to clear stages, but it is there. If you ever try it, Apple explains how to cancel a subscription.
One honest limit: RushOrb is new, at version 1.0. Rolling Sky has been adding levels for years, so it has more content today.
